Last week, George W. Bush shared with the nation, via Leno, his newfound love of painting. So, this the holiday season, why not capitalize on the former president's burgeoning hobby by decorating your tree?
The Museum Store at SMU's George W. Bush Presidential Center is selling a $30 cardinal ornament, based on a painting by Bush, but act now...the item is disappearing from shelves fast. A store employee says most of the 10,000 they've ordered have already sold. Perhaps it's the red bird and green foliage that conspire for the ultimate Christmas gift. Or maybe because, really, the Bush bobblehead seems just too much of an easy target.
