Check it Out, Y'all, We're Pumped About Racked Dallas

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

You live to be the first in line at the newest store at NorthPark. Frequently, you feel an intense desire to (window) shop at Highland Park Village. You know the dressing rooms at Neiman's Last Call better than your own bathroom. No, you don't need help. You just need Racked. Welcome to Racked Dallas, the new shopping and fashion website that covers your epic shopping adventures, whether they take you to Frisco or Fort Worth, Weatherford or Wylie.

On Racked Dallas, you'll find info on sales, shopping tips and a delicious mix of fashion, retail and even local celebrity news. We'll take you behind the scenes at area stores, tell you about the best merchandise on sale and, heck, we'll even equip you with maps and lists and photo galleries to enhance your shopping buzz. Racked Dallas is excited to be joining the Racked family of sites, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, Philly, Vegas and Miami—which is also launching today.

Anna Caplan, writer and lifelong Fort Worthian, is the editor of Racked Dallas. That means you'll be sure to see equal opportunity love for stores all over the Metroplex. And while her fond memories of shopping at Esprit on McKinney Avenue and Loehmann's in North Dallas as a kid have faded (much like those Daryl K pants she bought at the latter) she's well-armed to guide you to the area's newest, most amazing fashion spots. (Hint: She's head over heels for TenOverSix.)

If you have an idea or tip for us, we'd love to hear from you. Email us at dallas@racked.com, drop us a line via Twitter at @RackedDallas, or find us on Facebook.

And consider us your most willing shopping enabler. It's gonna be one happy new year, alright.
