Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm, the 750,000-square-foot resort-style mixed-use shopping mecca up in Allen, is known for making waves in the industry. For starters, when it was under construction nearly a decade ago, the property's developer—Fort Worth's Trademark Property Co.—used a focus group of women to determine what they wanted out of a retail destination.
Flash forward to 2014, and the place is still luring tenants and visitors alike. Just a few months ago, the complex announced more than $2.5 million in upgrades, including a now-under construction children's play area and 51-foot-high LED signage. In addition, new noteworthy stores include Z Gallerie and Altar'd State, while Michaels recently announced it had signed a 10-year lease at the center.
