Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Normally—like for eleven months of the year—the home goods at Anthropologie are quite expensive. (Oh, Willoughby Sofa, you are the stuff of dreams.) But every January, we look forward to the store's Winter Tag sale, when items are 50 percent off, making the designs...almost!...within reach.

Checking in at the company's Fort Worth store today, we found a plethora of peacock (rugs, that is; $24.97, from $49.95) as well as the requisite ceramic fruit holders and personalized mugs. But we're always suckers for the comfy quilts, like this Knotted Velvet one, scored for half-off ($99.97, to be exact).

Winter Tag sale, indeed.
