After last week's news broke that Brit brand Topshop will open its first store in Texas, we hypothesized that it would likely go in the Galleria/Westheimer area of Houston. While we'd like to think we are clairvoyant about these things, where else in the city would such a high-profile store work?
That said, Culture Map Houston has reported more, specifically that the two-level, 16,500-square-foot location will feature both Topshop clothing for women and Topman clothing for men, and that it will open in the Galleria in spring 2015.
Last week, Topshop also announced plans to open a large flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York, as well as new stores in San Diego, Atlanta, and outside Washington, D.C. It currently operates stores in New York, Chicago, Las Vegas and Los Angeles as well as Topshop departments in 42 Nordstrom stores, including at NorthPark Center.
