Rip Esselstyn, the Austin bestselling author of The Engine 2 Diet, is a triathlete, former firefighter and big-time advocate of plant-based eating. His regimen has fueled a nationwide interest in the connection between a plant-based diet and good health.
Esselstyn, who has teamed up with Austin-based Whole Foods Market as one of their Healthy Eating Partners, will appear tonight at the Park Lane store from 5 to 7 pm to sign copies of his book—conveniently on sale for $24.95.
