Carolina Herrera: "Dallas is Very Close to My Heart"

Just in time for Valentine's Day (or thereabouts), the new CH Carolina Herrera store is almost set to open its remodeled doors at NorthPark Center. (The exact open date will be confirmed later this week.)

"Dallas is very close to my heart because I had my first Carolina Herrera trunk show there. I am very excited about the new location as we will have more space to showcase the beautiful CH Carolina Herrera lifestyle collection," Herrera recently said.

The 3,639-square-foot space will have a regal look, featuring noble woods, leather, silk, raw linen and aged-brass accents. Furniture will be custom-designed in oak, Madagascar ebony, mahogany and Amazonian teak, and the floors alter from room to room, constructed of travertine stone and dark ash wood.

But what of the clothing, you ask? The women's collection will run the gamut from casual sportswear to tailored suits and elegant evening separates. For men, the store will offer a mix of casual wear, tailored suits and dress shirts, and colorful neckties. Even the kids will be able to get in on the sartorial action, too, with a small selection of brightly-hued separates.
