Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

When MTV RE:DEFINE hosts its gala and auction on April 4, it'll be the third year for the event, which raises money and awareness for HIV/AIDS for the MTV Staying Alive Foundation. This year, the dynamic exhibition and auction—put together by The Future Tense and Dallas Contemporary director Peter Doroshenko—meshes iconic and commissioned artworks by established and emerging talent with a special rock 'n' roll theme curated by artist Richard Phillips.

But if you're not able to attend the party, check out Paddle8, where an online auction of the work is currently running. From Conrad Atkinson's Walt Whitman's Shopping Trolley (opening bid is currently $750) to Phillips' Lindsay III ($32,500), there's clearly something here for everyone; the work is on view through April 2 at the Dallas Contemporary.
