Think a new bridal salon is the only thing Stanley Korshak is married to? That's only half the news coming out of the Crescent Court upscale retailer. According to a report in WWD, the designer mecca is embarking on a $2 million, 5,000-square-foot expansion, with the first phase opening next month.
The new Stanley Korshak will span 73,000 square feet, utilizing nearly all of the ground-floor retail in the courtyard at the Rosewood Crescent Hotel.
The first phase, a larger bridal salon, is set to open in early April, featuring a Vera Wang boutique, and the addition of Naeem Khan and in-house custom designer Nha Khanh.
The Shak space will also get a re-do. Expected to be finished by the end of May, it will offer shops for Alice + Olivia, Helmut Lang and Rag & Bone, plus a larger selection of shoes, handbags and jewelry.
