Friday morning, the lower-level of Nordstrom's NorthPark Center store saw the debut of SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker, a collection of some 20-plus shoes—surprisingly practical heels and flats—and a trench coat in two colors.
Those of you who were looking for her handbags (really, clutches) didn't have any luck on Friday; store employees say they are still en route, but are available online.
But back to the shoes: Each of the styles features a grosgrain ribbon (mostly located on the heel), a reference to Parker's shoe-buying memories when she was a little girl.
As SJP put it to Racked National last week: "We have shoes of all heights and colors. We have a more bold color and we have a far more polite color. This was very much intended as a cross-generational collection."
Judging from the shoebox-strewn floor at Nordstrom, SJP has connected once again to an adoring public.
