Instagrammers were atwitter yesterday with news that Planet Blue is looking at expanding into Texas.
The California-based bohemian brand (think Free People, but with other designers in the mix and a cheaper price point) started in Malibu in 1995, and now has four stores in Southern California, plus two more in Tokyo and Japan.
"We're in a #Texas state of mind," Shopplanetblue wrote. "Where should we open up our next shop: Austin, Houston or Dallas?"
As of this morning, over 2,800 people liked the post, and 20 people offered their keen real estate insight, with Dallas getting seven votes, Austin with five and Houston having three.
A PR rep confirmed the company is exploring the idea, but couldn't offer any more details at this time.
