Unicorn necklace in silver, $72.99 at Jewelry by Veronique
If Katy Perry had a mythical spirit animal, I imagine it would be the unicorn. As it happens, pop's reigning cupcake queen is apparently a big fan of Jewelry by Veronique, the whimsical accessories line of LA designer Veronique Vicari, who crafted the pretty silver unicorn horn pendant you see here. As the jeweler states, the imaginary horned creatures are symbols of luck and hope, "and fortunate indeed are those who possess a unicorn horn of their very own."
That sounds cool and all, but let's be completely logical: In addition being magical mustangs of good vibes, unicorns most definitely used their horns for self-defense. I'm not saying this necklace should be repurposed as a makeshift weapon; however, I am saying that it makes for a very stylish package opener. How's that for fashion meets function?
