Kendra Scott is broadening her earring (and other jewelry) empire. Scott's Austin-based company is currently busy opening a number of stores across the southern U.S. Last week, the jewelry designer debuted an outpost in The Woodlands, outside Houston—her eighth in Texas. For her next location, Scott will enter uncharted territory: Atlanta. Tomorrow, she will open a 1,000-square-foot unit in Buckhead's Shops Around Lenox shopping center. The designer plans to open a second Georgia store in Alpharetta later this fall, followed by an Alabama debut in Birmingham. More importantly to North Texans, her store in University Park Village in Fort Worth is slated to open late summer.
