If you're looking for a way to fight back against the brutal impending summer heat, I've found an answer in sartorial form. Look no further than Mi Golondrina, the Dallas-based line of artisan Mexican clothing by Cristina Lynch. No slouch in the creative department—her aunt is designer Jan Barboglio—Lynch fell in love with Oaxacan embroidery on a trip to Mexico years ago, and she has built her clothing and bedding business around the tradition. Stanley Korshak recently started carrying her line, darling, airy pieces ideal for spring and summer. I confess: I have a crush on the Miel Silvestre Black with Beige Trim Dress ($145), a 100 percent cotton classic interpretation that plays to my neutral-toned tendencies, yet is about the furthest thing from humdrum. With this dress—I daresay—bring on the heat.
