Amid a slew of exciting openings at NorthPark Center is a name that may be unfamiliar to folks in this market: PIRCH. The upscale appliance chain, based in Costa Mesa, California, will debut at the mall August 23, on the second level in the former Barneys New York space.
With the slogan "Kitchen. Bath. Outdoor. Joy." the store sells uber-high-end lines such as Sub-Zero, Miele and Electrolux. According to the company's website, the Dallas store is currently hiring, looking to fill jobs with New Age-y names like Barista of Joy (apparently someone who exudes happiness while simultaneously dispensing complimentary espresso) as well as performance chefs—meaning the space will likely offer demos.
