Bonobos, the Internet-based men's clothing brand with a predilection for both fit and gingham, will open a brick-and-mortar "Guideshop" next Friday, June 6 at 1901 Henderson Ave. Essentially an e-commerce showroom, the 1,200-square-foot space will serve as a personal extension of Bonobos' customer service for customers who want to see and try on the clothing in person before placing an order on the website. (Currently, the clothes are sold locally at Nordstrom and Belk.)

The Dallas showroom is the New York-based brand's ninth location nationwide and second Texas shop, following a debut in Austin last August. Bonobos has other locations in Bethesda, Maryland; Boston; Chicago; D.C.; New York City; and San Francisco. Plans are in the works to introduce the concept to additional U.S. cities by the end of the year.
