Looking for an effortless shirtdress to wear this spring? What about a to-die tailored linen blouse that would look perfect with shorts this summer? We've found both for you (plus about 100 other options) at a fabulous showroom in Travis Walk.
Meet Double R, the new Dallas line of bespoke shirts from husband and wife Ravi and Jen Ratan. The company, which quietly launched in September, is about to make a splash later this month with the launch of their e-com site. (Ravi's family is a well-known in the industry as owners of Q Custom Clothier, with outposts in Highland Park Village, West Village and in Houston.)
In the meantime, you can stop by their showroom (walk-ins are welcome!) to check out the duo's four different styles of shirts—tailored, tunic, boyfriend and shirtdress—which can be customized in, literally, about 100 different ways. You can monogram them in a bevy of different fonts, choose your own seam color and even add colorful details on the collar. Then, after the Ratans take just four measurements, specs for your new shirt will be sent off and you'll have it three weeks later. Starting at $195, these shirts are worth every penny.
