Sure, there are the places you go to when it's time to buy a wedding gift. Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, et. al. And then there is Wrare. The quirky, determinedly one-of-a-kind store in Fort Worth's West 7th district certainly marches to its own beat, stocking handsome home furnishings, gifts and cards—all with vintage flair. From Nakshi Kantha quilts to old-time-y Smith-Corona typewriters and Edison light-bulbs, the items here might just be the antithesis of those you'd find on a standard wedding-gift registry. And that, very much so, is why I find it such an inherently appealing store.
