A former art director for R.E.M. and Green Day is now the creative force behind the redesign of Austin-based HELM Boots. Recently, the men's brand unveiled a new logo and website. The man behind this is Chris Bilheimer, whose wife, Hillary, happens to be HELM's brand manager.

"The original look had a pretty heavy Americana feel to it, and part of the vision was to move away from beating you over the head that it's made in America," he said to WWD. "With what they plan to do in the future, I tried to give them an identity that has a more modern feel."
