Cool Down: Lorna Jane's NorthPark Opening Is Delayed

Lorna Jane, the Aussie-based activewear brand, is guilty of bit of a false start. Originally scheduled to open its doors June 12, the store is now set to debut at NorthPark Center on July 17, according to the company.

An upscale alternative that's priced similarly to that other ubiquitous brand, Lorna Jane offers a full slate of athletic apparel. There's also a wellness component; founder Lorna Jane Clarkson is a nutrition enthusiast who just penned a cookbook, and she's also a personal trainer.

In other slightly related news, reps for Gap-owned Athleta are confirming the brand's first Fort Worth location will open this fall at University Park Village.
