A video that first aired back in April when Conan O'Brien visited Dallas is breathing new life into cosmetics stalwart Mary Kay. The iconic Dallas brand, showcased in a hilarious skit in which Conan role-played as a Mary Kay rep, has seen an uptick in social-media awareness since it first aired. Since debuting, the video has garnered some 650,000 views on Conan's Team Coco YouTube channel. "The notion of selling door-to-door has been replaced by sales representatives wielding smartphones, iPads and mobile credit-card readers," says a WWD article, which adds that the company is hardly a newcomer to the digital landscape.
