Independent and emerging designers, take note: There's a new local forum for your talents. Introducing Fashion X Dallas, a showcase co-produced by the creators of Austin Fashion Week, set for this fall (November 5-8) at the Fashion Industry Gallery (FIG).
Tentatively scheduled as three nights of runway shows, the event will "present spring styles by juried, emerging fashion and accessories designers from the area and beyond plus a couple of national contemporary brands," Matt Swinney, owner and chief executive officer of Fashion & Style Events in Austin, told WWD.
Currently, Fashion X is looking for help to make the event a reality. Designers, models, businesses looking to contribute to VIP gifts and prospective volunteers are encouraged to contact the startup.
