Joanne and Charles Teichman toasted Ylang 23's first-ever sample sale at their lovely Plaza at Preston Center boutique this morning with mimosas—but the allure of pretty baubles up to 80 percent off was even stronger. We spied India Hicks pendants, Heather Moore trinkets and pieces by Lucifer Vir Honestus among the delicate mix of high-low merchandise. Friendship bracelets, large statement necklaces for $10—yes, it was a very good way to start the day, indeed. The sale runs through 7 pm tomorrow.
