As weekends go, it was a pretty great one for jewelry designer Ashley Pittman. The native Dallasite saw her Nene bangle bracelet ($535) bedeck the well-toned arms of one First Lady. Pittman's work, which is entirely handcrafted in Kenya, proved a good wardrobe choice for Mrs. Obama, as the event was the U.S.-Africa Summit dinner at the White House.
